This project focuses on acoustic optimization for a modern open-plan office space suffering from excessive background noise and long reverberation time. Large-area hard walls and glass partitions created echoing issues, lowering staff focus and reducing overall workspace comfort.
To balance budget, aesthetics and acoustic performance, polyester fiber acoustic panels were adopted as the main wall and partial ceiling treatment. Featuring high NRC rating and excellent broadband absorption, the panels efficiently reduce mid-to-high frequency noise such as talking sound, keyboard clicks and equipment hum. The lightweight and flexible material allows flexible modular layout, matching the office’s minimalist interior style.
After installation, the space obtained balanced sound field and lower reverberation. The overall noise level was significantly improved, creating a quieter and more concentrated working atmosphere. This case proves that recycled polyester acoustic panels are a cost-effective and reliable solution for modern office interior acoustic upgrades.
