Fabric Wrapped Panels + Perforated Acoustic Walls For Premium Medical Aesthetics Clinic

medical fabric acoustic panels

Project Context

This premium medical aesthetics clinic provides consultation, treatment and skin care services, with a brand positioning focused on calm, private and healing customer experience. Thin partition walls and hard clinical-style wall finishes caused noticeable sound leakage between consultation and treatment rooms. Doctor-patient conversations could be overheard in adjacent rooms, creating privacy compliance risks. At the same time, indoor echo contributed to a tense, clinical atmosphere that conflicted with the brand’s relaxing luxury positioning. The clinic required acoustic wall materials that support routine wipe disinfection, meet healthcare-grade fire and low-VOC standards, and blend into the soft, premium interior aesthetic.

Custom Acoustic Solution

The project adopts a dual-system scheme: medical-grade fabric wrapped acoustic panels for private rooms, and perforated acoustic panels for public corridor areas.
All consultation rooms and treatment rooms are fully fitted with fabric-wrapped acoustic panels with high-density fiberglass core, NRC 0.85–0.95, which effectively eliminate indoor echo and reduce airborne sound transmission between rooms to protect consultation privacy. The outer layer is medical-grade stain-resistant flame-retardant fabric in warm muted tones, supporting daily wipe-down disinfection.
Public corridors and waiting areas use perforated acoustic panels with backing mineral wool, NRC 0.80, to control public area reverberation. The smooth, clean panel surface matches the clinic’s minimalist medical aesthetic and is easy to clean and maintain.
All materials meet ASTM E84 Class A fire safety standards and ultra-low VOC emissions. The 310 ㎡ installation was completed in 14 days.

Project Outcome

After completion, sound leakage between treatment rooms is effectively eliminated, and one-to-one consultation conversations are fully private, satisfying healthcare privacy compliance requirements. Indoor echo is noticeably reduced, creating a softer, calmer healing atmosphere. The two acoustic systems maintain a unified premium visual style across private and public areas, fully meeting clinical hygiene, safety and customer experience requirements.
