This project focused on professional acoustic tuning for a high-end residential private theater. The untreated room suffered from prominent standing waves, flutter echo and muddy bass, which severely reduced the immersion of movie viewing and music appreciation. The client required both precise acoustic optimization and a cohesive, luxurious interior aesthetic.
Fabric-wrapped acoustic panels were installed across the side walls and rear wall as the core acoustic solution. Each panel features a high-density acoustic core wrapped in premium fire-retardant acoustic fabric, delivering full-band sound absorption with an NRC rating of 0.85–0.95. The soft core material effectively eliminates low-frequency standing waves and residual echo, while the breathable fabric surface absorbs scattered mid-high frequency noise for balanced sound field performance.
The panel color, size and geometric layout were fully customized to match the theater’s dark luxury design style. After commissioning, reverberation time reached the optimal range for home cinema, with clear dialogue, layered surround sound and tight, powerful bass. The client reported a significantly improved immersive viewing experience, confirming that fabric acoustic panels are ideal for high-end customized acoustic spaces.
