Fabric-Wrapped Acoustic Panels for Professional Podcast Recording Studio Build

fabric wrapped acoustic panel

This project was the professional acoustic construction of an independent podcast recording studio. The original ordinary room had strong sound reflection, with obvious standing waves and flutter echoes. During recording, the human voice sounded hollow and muddy, and the room reverberation was heavy, which could not meet the professional audio quality requirements of commercial podcasts and audio content production. The client required broadcast-level acoustic standards while maintaining a simple and high-end studio visual style.

Fabric-wrapped acoustic panels were used for full-wall and ceiling acoustic treatment of the recording room. The high-density acoustic core wrapped with breathable flame-retardant fabric has an NRC rating of 0.85–0.95, which can achieve balanced full-band sound absorption, effectively eliminate indoor standing waves and reverberation, and ensure that the recorded human voice is pure, clear and full of texture. The soft fabric material avoids secondary reflection damage to the sound and ensures the authenticity of the recording.

The product adopts dark gray professional acoustic fabric, which matches the simple and professional studio style, and the modular arrangement is neat and elegant. All materials meet Class A fire protection standards. After the project was completed, the acoustic test showed that the room reverberation time reached the professional recording studio standard, the recorded voice was clean and natural without hollow feeling, and the audio quality reached the broadcast level. It provides a reliable acoustic foundation for high-quality podcast and audio content production.
