Office building lobbies are high-ceiling public areas with strong sound reflection. Crowd noise, elevator running sound and air-conditioning mechanical noise cause continuous background noise. Traditional gypsum and mineral ceilings have poor sound absorption and are easy to deform and sag in large-span spaces.
The project replaced the entire lobby ceiling with high-density fiberglass acoustic tiles. Featuring Class A fireproof, low-smoke and mildew-resistant performance, the tiles fully comply with modern commercial building codes. The high-porosity structure reaches NRC 0.90–0.95, effectively reducing mixed public-area noise and stabilizing indoor sound field.
After completion, the lobby background noise is significantly reduced. The entire building presents a quiet, high-end and professional atmosphere. The durable ceiling system requires minimal maintenance, helping property teams reduce long-term operational costs.
