Project Overview
This industrial pump station in Hamburg serves a regional water supply network, with a total plant area of 920 ㎡. Multiple large pumps and circulating equipment generated continuous low-frequency noise. Noise transmitted to the surrounding office area and outdoor boundary exceeded local environmental limits. The project needed durable, weather-resistant acoustic insulation and absorption solutions for heavy industrial environments.
Solution Configuration
Equipment enclosures adopted MLV sound barrier to block low-frequency airborne noise. Internal enclosure surfaces were lined with fiberglass acoustic panels to reduce internal sound reflection. Structural vibration isolation accessories were used to cut vibration transmission. Surface coating was customized for moisture and corrosion resistance.
Project Result
Noise at the plant boundary was reduced by 18dB, fully meeting local environmental noise regulations. The adjacent office area no longer suffers from persistent low-frequency rumble. MLV sound barrier and fiberglass lining remain stable under long-term continuous operation of pumping equipment.
