Project Challenge
High-end dental clinics require strict sound privacy and a calm, low-anxiety patient experience. Thin partition walls and hard clinical finishes cause significant sound leakage between treatment rooms. The sound of dental tools, patient conversations and staff discussion can be heard across adjacent rooms, compromising patient confidentiality and increasing treatment anxiety. The clinic required hygienic, fire-safe acoustic materials aligned with its premium healthcare interior design.
Solution
Full-wall flame-retardant fabric-wrapped acoustic panels were installed in all treatment rooms and consultation areas. With an NRC rating of 0.85–0.95, the high-density core delivers full-frequency sound absorption, eliminating room echo and drastically reducing inter-room sound transmission. The soft, matte medical-grade fabric creates a calm, warm atmosphere that reduces patient stress. All materials meet commercial healthcare fire safety and low-VOC standards, suitable for enclosed clinical environments.
Results
Each treatment room now achieves independent acoustic isolation with no audible sound leakage between rooms. Patient conversation privacy is fully protected, and the quiet, soft acoustic environment noticeably reduces pre-treatment anxiety. The refined fabric finish elevates the clinic’s premium brand image while meeting strict healthcare facility performance requirements.
