Project Challenge
This open-plan co-working space features full-height glass partitions, polished concrete floors and exposed ceilings, resulting in severe flutter echo and cross-desk sound interference. Team discussions, video conferences and keyboard clicks spread freely across the floor, disrupting deep work and lowering member productivity. The operator required an eco-friendly, visually modern acoustic solution that matches the minimalist industrial interior and can be installed without interrupting daily operations.
Solution
100% recycled polyester fiber acoustic panels were installed on partition walls, columns and feature walls throughout the workspace. With a stable NRC rating of 0.85–0.95, the porous PET material effectively absorbs mid-to-high frequency speech and ambient office noise, reducing sound propagation across the open area. The panels are formaldehyde-free with ultra-low VOC emissions, complying with international indoor air quality standards. Custom neutral tones were selected to fit the brand’s minimalist aesthetic, and lightweight adhesive installation allowed phased construction with zero downtime.
Results
Post-installation measurements showed a significant reduction in overall reverberation and ambient noise. Cross-team sound interference was greatly minimized, and video call audio clarity improved noticeably. Members reported fewer auditory distractions and better focus on intensive work. The seamless wall panels blend perfectly with the modern interior, delivering both professional acoustic performance and a clean, upgraded visual experience.
